Paint correction

from€250· 1–2 days

Paint correction at my workshop starts at €250 and takes 1–2 days, depending on paint condition and the number of stages. A single-stage polish removes up to 60% of defects and restores gloss; a three-stage correction removes up to 95%. I measure paint thickness before every job.

Included

  • Wash and paint decontamination before polishing
  • Paint-thickness measurement before starting
  • Machine polishing in one to three stages
  • Inspection under halogen and LED lighting
  • Protective wax after polishing
up to 60% of defects

Single-stage polish

A paint refresh: removes light swirl marks and restores gloss. The right choice before a sale or for well-kept cars.

from€2501 day

up to 85% of defects

Two-stage correction

Cutting followed by fine polishing: removes most scratches and dullness. The most common choice before ceramic coating.

from€3501–2 days

up to 95% of defects

Three-stage correction

Restoration-grade work for demanding owners: panel by panel, until the paint stands up to inspection from every angle.

from€5002 days

Why paint goes dull

Every brush wash, every layer of dust and every summer storm etches micro-scratches into the clear coat. In sunlight they show up as spider webs and a grey, tired look. Polishing removes a thin layer of damaged clear coat and reveals the healthy paint underneath – the colour gets back the depth you saw in the showroom.

I measure, I don't guess

Before polishing I measure the clear coat on every panel with a gauge. I know exactly how much paint there is to work with, and I never polish blind. On cars with thin or previously polished paint I adapt the process – clear coat can only be removed once.

Under the lamp, not the open sky

All work happens in an enclosed workshop under halogen and LED lighting that exposes every defect. I inspect the result from every angle before handover – and you are welcome to do the same.

FAQ

The questions I hear first

A ceramic coating is a liquid protection for gloss, easier washing and resistance to UV and chemicals. PPF is a thicker clear film that physically stops stone chips. Ceramic protects against the environment, film against damage – for new cars the best answer is often a combination of both.
